The US EPA had developed software called the HVAC Investor to calculate customer ROI for high efficiency HVAC equipment. However, it was hard to use by HVAC sales people without considerable training delivered in workshops throughout the country. We created an interactive Flash – based training tutorial for salespersons selling EnergyStar branded equipment that replaced expensive face to face training.
Our tutorial provided step by step instructions for the software, including full narration, on – screen tips and quizzes. The tutorial was made available by EPA as part of the software toolkit for HVAC vendors, eliminating considerable training labor and expenses for the Agency.
