A U.S. Dept of Transportation program called CMAQ that promotes congestion mitigation, reduced fuel use and cleaner air needed an effective means to showcase successful projects from around the country. Projects ranged from natural gas fueling stations, to traffic flow improvements, to transit system improvements, to particulate reduction strategies.
We designed an exhibit and interactive multimedia kiosk program illustrating successful projects. Each project case study featured air quality benefits achieved. The interactive kiosk program is also designed for accessabilty to users with visual and hearing disabilities. Wheelchair access and one handed program navigation are also provided. The program features a fully voiced narration, matching on – screen text. The exhibit delivers a positive message about transportation projects that help maintain air quality and save fuel. It is seen thousands every year at professional and public meetings.
